Wind Relieving Pose is an effective pose that helps in relieving gas, bloating, and promotes better digestion.

How to Perform Wind Relieving Pose:

  • Starting Position: Lie down on your back with your legs extended and arms by your sides.
  • Bring One Knee to Chest: Inhale, then bring your right knee towards your chest, hugging it with both hands.
  • Hold and Breathe: Hold your knee close to your chest for 20–30 seconds while breathing deeply.
  • Switch Sides: Exhale and return your right leg to the floor, then repeat with the left knee.
  • Double Leg Variation: For added intensity, you can bring both knees towards your chest at the same time.

Dos:

  • Keep your back flat on the floor while performing the pose.
  • Focus on your breath, inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly to maximize relaxation.
  • Engage your abdominal muscles to deepen the stretch and enhance digestion.

Don'ts:

  • Don’t force your knees towards your chest if you feel discomfort in your lower back.
  • Avoid pressing your head or neck into the ground; keep your head relaxed on the mat.
  • If you have knee or back issues, modify the pose to avoid strain.
